The Arlo Mesh Office Chair showcases a unique height and recline mechanism. Its height and recline adjustment levers are elegantly integrated into the frame, creating a sleek, modern design. To lower the seat height, simply pull the right-hand lever out while seated; to raise it, pull the lever out while standing.

The chair can only be locked in an upright position. To release the recline lock, pull the left-hand lever to recline and adjust the position. Once you're done, return to the upright position and pull the lever again to lock it. The chair features a weight-activated auto-balance mechanism that adjusts to different body types for optimal comfort and ergonomics, replacing traditional tension control.

The backrest and seat are upholstered in flexible black mesh, which adapts to your body shape. The mesh provides the ideal balance of comfort and breathability, promoting airflow to prevent heat buildup while delivering soft, responsive support.

The assembly started out well but when fitting the back rest it would not fit. Slackening all of thew other screws off was necessary to get the back into position but even then it was difficult to get the screws in. One screw has not been fitted because it will not line up. The seat padding is not exciting. The packaging was not good and the box was falling apart, the gas strut had broken the plastic strut cover.

The chair seems fine once built but joining arms and back was a bit finnicky. Marginally longer screws would have made it easier. Thankfully there were spares, but did strip the thread on at least one screw.

As a Software Engineer who spends long hours in front of the screen, this is easily the best chair I've bought so far (and I've bought a couple over the years). For context, sitting on terrible chairs over thr years have given me chronic back pains. The chair has great back support. The assembly was easy and very straightforward. And most importantly the chair is a delight to sit on and work from. The 2 adjustments are simple and functional. PS: This is probably my longest positive review on a product ever! 😇
