The Kirby Bariatric Chair is fitted with an advanced three-lever mechanism, giving you complete control over your seating position for enhanced comfort throughout the day. Conveniently positioned on the right-hand side of the chair, the levers allow simple adjustment of the seat height, seat angle and backrest recline while seated.

The first lever controls the seat height, making it easy to achieve the correct working position. Lift the lever while seated to lower the chair or while standing to raise it. The second lever adjusts the seat angle. Simply lift the lever to unlock the mechanism, move the seat to your preferred position and push the lever back down to secure it.

Positioned closest to the backrest, the third lever controls the recline function. Lift the lever, lean back to your preferred angle and lock it into place by pushing the lever down again. For greater flexibility, both the seat angle and backrest recline can remain unlocked to provide a free-floating rocking motion. A tension control knob also allows you to tailor the recline resistance to suit your body weight and personal comfort preference.

The backrest features a height-adjustable medium-back design, allowing the support to be tailored to individual users and seating preferences. Its ergonomically contoured shape supports the natural curve of the spine to encourage healthier posture, while delivering supportive upper and mid-back comfort with the flexibility needed for everyday office tasks.

Designed for long periods of sitting, the chair includes a generously padded seat with a waterfall front edge to help reduce pressure behind the knees and improve circulation. Suitable for continuous 24-hour use, it performs exceptionally well in intensive workplace environments. A choice of arm options is available, allowing you to select the best option for your preferred level of comfort and support.

I couldn’t be happier with this chair. The first thing I noticed was the seat — it’s wonderfully thick and cushioned, unlike so many of the thin and unforgiving seats you usually find. It makes a huge difference in comfort, especially when sitting for longer periods. The support is excellent, the padding feels dense and durable rather than cheap, and it gives you that “settle in and relax” feeling as soon as you sit down. Design-wise, it looks great, but the real star is how comfortable it is. Far superior to the common thin-seated chairs that leave you fidgeting after half an hour. This is the kind of chair you can actually enjoy using daily. Highly recommended!
